Mooommmm! He touched me!
Daaaadddddd! She looked at me!
Do you remember riding in the backseat of the family car fighting and bickering with your siblings? Did you ever make imaginary lines on the seat and dare your brother or sister to cross them. Did you complain when they breathed on you?
Do you remember getting the glare from your mom or dad in the rearview mirror? Did you ever get the hand swat reaching back from the front seat. Or how about the dreaded words – “don’t make me stop this car”?
There’s an awful lot of bickering and fighting amongst brothers and sisters on this journey of life.
Kind of makes you wonder, doesn’t it?
As an only child I didn’t have this problem (ha!) but I do see enough bickering amongst the family of God to get an idea of how that must’ve felt. Unfortunately, most things we disagree on are temporal but disunity still leaves its mark on a dying world. Thank you for this reminder today.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I’m glad you “got it”. (My husband didn’t, lol).
I was an only child for 7 years until my little brother was born. Maybe that’s why we fought so much!

ooo, I remember well! Pre minivans, 7 in the car… I never got the front seat(i was the middle child) nor did we have air conditioning in our car. I do get your meaning…the main issue should have been we get to DO something! (hmmm, too bad the main issues are not being talked about)
