If you know me, you know how much of an Anglophile I am. I love all things British. I drink tea and eat scones. I love castles and English cottages. I even owned a Pembroke Welsh Corgi for thirteen years. So I hope you will understand why I’m having trouble thinking of something meaningful to say on this historic event, the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. I enjoyed following her in the news for many years and am so thankful she was able to enjoy her Platinum Jubilee this year. My heart goes out to her family.
Here is a small pictorial tribute to the queen; some from trips to London and some of my own English memorabilia.

Wow! It doesn’t seem it was that long ago! Remember how cool it was to visit Buckingham Palace and see the Queen’s fashion through the years.
